HPAS Staff

High Point Adolescent School uses a cross-disciplinary approach, integrating the skills and training of an interdisciplinary team of professionals. The school's staff believe that improving the behavioral and social skills of students is as important as increasing their academic skills.

 

 

Educational staff members include Special Education teachers and teachers in Health and Physical Education, Computers, PreVocational Training, Art, Building Trades, World Languages, Music, and Home Economics. The High Point educational team is complemented by related-services staff including Speech and Language Clinicians, School Clinical Social Workers, Psychiatrists, School Nurses and Occupational Therapy Consultants and staff specializing in substance and sexual abuse.
